SCC-E
The new SCC-E from sitola is a fully automatic CNC contour cutting machine for the high-precision cutting of flexible PU foam, polyethylene, composite foam and viscose foam. It is used in particular in the upholstered furniture, mattress and packaging industries and impresses with its precise cuts, high speed and excellent price-performance ratio.
With a revolving bandknife, a cutting speed of up to 60 m/min and intelligent sitola control including touch panel, CAD connection and remote access, the SCC-E offers maximum efficiency and ease of use. Area of application of the machine
The SCC-E from sitola has been specially developed for the precise contour cutting of foams and is used in a wide range of industrial sectors.
It is mainly used in the upholstered furniture industry to produce individually shaped foam parts for seat and back upholstery.
In mattress production, it ensures precise and repeatable cuts for a wide variety of mattress types, from simple foam cores to complex ergonomic zones.
In addition, the SCC-E is ideal for the packaging industry, where customized foam packaging is required for sensitive products - from electronics to medical devices.

Knife rotation speed
The blade rotation speed is infinitely variable. This allows the bandknife to be adapted to the properties of different materials and thus further improve the cutting pattern.
Cutting tool
The machine works with a revolving bandknife. These band knives are manufactured by sitola in a wide variety of designs depending on the type of material to be processed.
Hold-down system
The hold-down system is used to fix the block precisely and evenly. This enables extremely low cutting tolerances even with small material sizes.
Automatic center holder
The center holder can be moved by motor and gives the bandknife additional stability for perfect and optimum cutting accuracy without tolerances.
Motorized grinding unit (optional)
The motorized, automatic grinding unit enables the use of smooth band knives without teeth. This means that the band knives can be effectively reground and can therefore be used for longer.
Design of work table as turntable (optional)
The material can be easily and conveniently rotated through 90 degrees and does not have to be laboriously moved by hand.
Loading / unloading belts (optional)
The loading/unloading belts are used for easy delivery and removal of the blocks.

We use state-of-the-art automation components. The user interface is a 17.3" touchscreen monitor with a fast SSD hard disk.

The heart of the control system is a powerful Lenze PLC. The blocks are positioned and the cutting unit is moved via extremely precise Lenze servo drives.
Convenient control panel
The control panel is a touch panel with a generously sized 17.3″ TFT display.
Separate control panel
The control system is integrated into a separate control panel. This saves a considerable amount of space in front of the machine.
User interface
The user interface has been designed for quick familiarization and is user-friendly.
Cutting programs
The sitola CNC control reads the machine code of various manufacturers. This means that you can continue to use your existing CAD programming software. Both cutting programs in G-CODE and SLD programs can be processed.
The control unit also has an integrated DXF converter, which enables you to create your cutting programs quickly.
Network connection
The control unit can be integrated into your company network via LAN or WIFI connection.
Remote access
An integrated modem enables worldwide remote diagnostics and software updates.
UPS
An intelligent, uninterruptible power supply unit is integrated into the control unit. In the event of a sudden power failure, the machine can switch off safely.
Cooling system
The control cabinet has an integrated cooling system. This reduces the dust load in the control unit and leads to a longer service life for the electrical components.
Power supply
The power supply is 400 VAC with 50/60 Hz. This can be adjusted according to your specification. An optional transformer may be required.
